I'm about to start work on a webcomic

I'm terribly excited about this, wanted to keep it on the DL but I can't help it, this is my first official work for this webcomic I'm starting hopefully soon depending how busy my scripter is.

Can't say anything about the story, but hopefully this lone image will give you a desire to see more.

Thanks for stopping by!

Joy Division

Well, it's kind of been a while, hopefully you'll find the slight jump in my digital art to be worth it. I've been trying to learn as much as I can with photoshop, I feel I've been improving at a very good rate, it's so much fun and so fast. I'm having a lot of fun. No if only I could take it to a real canvas...

Recently, walking through a shopping center near my school, a movie poster caught my eye, a movie called "Control" I didn't have time to stop and watch it then, but I will see it soon. It's a movie about Ian Curtis, the singer to one of my favorite bands: Joy Division. I'm a big fan, and it inspired me to try my hand at a portrait of him, hopefully I did him justice.

Alright, well, enjoy, and thank you for stopping by!

Bergerac

Having fun with inkwash and watercolors, taking Kelly's advice and being messy about it. Cyrano de Bergerac is on of my favorite stories, and one of my favorite characters... Maybe it's the nose thing. Anyhow, I took inspiration from the Gerard Depardieu movie, which I enjoyed very much as well.

Hope you guys like it, just me trying some new stuff.

Thanks for stopping by!

Update

I couldn't help but keep working on it, playing around I kind of made up my own process as far as coloring goes... I may start a webcomic sooner rather than later, see where that takes me.

A little more fun with Photoshop!

I'm back again, having some fun with my Wacom Tablet, I love this thing.
Hope you like the drawing, it's a project I had done for school that I decided to keep working on today. I was kind of going for a Schindler's list type of effect with the dress. As for the drawing itself, I based it on some old Pepsi ads I'd seen on this great mailing list called today's inspiration, which I highly recommend you join. So this is my spin on it.

Harry Potter

I'm not a huge fan of the Potter series, first off. I've never read a book and I don't really intend to, I've enjoyed the movies and wouldn't want pesky expectations to ruin it for me.
That said, Severus Snape is my favorite character of the series, you never quite know what he's thinking; Is he good? Evil? You never quite know (unless of course you know what happens... which I do) and it makes me appreciate this part of Rowlings creation very much.
This particular drawing is a make-up drawing for a friend, the first Snape drawing I did was more of a joke, but I was inspired and I decided to make it up to her. This is a quick, maybe 45 minute sketch. Hope you dig it!

See you on the other side.

Told you!

Hello again! I told you I had more stuff. This is my final project for a drawing class in school, it's also a get well gift for a friend of mine. She's fine thankfully. So it's an ongoing thing, these are the pencils, I am working on the wash, I'm almost done, it's huge so I have to have it scanned in once I'm done, hopefully by next week.

Cheerio!

Long time

Hey Kids! It's been a criminally long time, I honestly just haven't had much to post, but now that I'm in school and I feel I'm improving rather quickly, I'm getting more material to show. This is a drawing of a friend of mine, it was also a reason to try coloring with photoshop. So here you have it, my first real try at photoshop.

Been a while

Well, this is my first art post, I'll start being more constructive with this once I'm under the impression I have people who come here. Haha.
